This literature study was superb! It didn’t feel overwhelming like many lit studies can. We have used a LOT of literature studies, units, etc etc from a lot of different companies and this was legitimately one of my favorites. The story was challenging to understand in the old English writing style of the time, and these pages helped us better understand and remember the storyline. The inclusion of vocabulary, reading comprehension and a summary for every ‘stave’ was really what helped solidify my children’s understanding of the story. I enjoyed the writing prompts and how varied they were for each stave as well as studying literary devices and the plot progression. I cannot wait for more literature studies of this style. The perfect amount of learning to solidify skills without feeling overwhelming!
