The Best Games For Learning in May

We have so many exciting games to share with you this month! Whether you’re planning family game night or looking to add some gameschooling to your homeschool lessons, these May games are perfect for kids of all ages.

For us, games are a huge part of the way we learn. We use games to practice math and reading skills, strategy, and even squeeze in motor skills. The best part is that it doesn’t feel like school work when everyone is laughing and enjoying games together.

That’s why gameschooling is such a powerful way to homeschool. It keeps lessons fun and engaging while kids practice critical skills in a fun way.

This May, there’s a lot to celebrate. Mother’s Day, Memorial Day, Cinco de Mayo, and even silly holidays like Dinosaur Day all happen this month. It’s the perfect excuse to grab a few new games and turn learning into something everyone’s excited about!

The Best Games for Each Month of the Year

We love games, but playing the same games over and over can get old. You can only have so many Yahtzee competitions before everyone is ready to play a game without dice. That’s why we rotate games each month to keep our collection exciting.

I’ve compiled a printable list of the best games for May to make it easy to grab new games for your family, too. It’s perfect for gift-giving or fun alternatives to candy for all the upcoming celebrations. You’ll get options for kids from preschool through high school.
